Pohaku Tenor Resonator
This is a custom POHAKU new maple wooden resonator instrument. It uses a six inch cone with a spider style bridge set-up.
The instrument is loud and brilliant with good note separation and clarity. It’s not muddy sounding at all as some reso’s can be.
The body and neck are Western Big Leaf Curly - Quilted Maple with a dark edge binding, a hand rubbed sunburst and an excellent glossy lacquer finish.
The vintage look Keystone tuners are Grover’s and the retro-deco cover-plate is vac-u-formed in a tough ABS. There are 17 frets on the jet black Ebony fingerboard. The scale length is 17” and overall the instrument is about 26” long and it weighs about 33 ozs. A case is included with the instrument. $1050
