Peghed Banjo pegs are larger than the Peghed Brand ukulele pegs and are made for the thicker pegheads that banjos have. These pegs still have the appearance of old timey wooden friction pegs and carry the Peghed brand planetary 4:1 ratio of miniature gears inside these cleverly designed tuners.

Banjo pegs are available in two sizes, these #8544 tuners are the larger of the two, a little bit longer and fatter than the #7544’s. The starting hole needs to be 8.5 mm or less to fit these pegs.

These tuners can accommodate a range of peghead thicknesses from about .500” up to about .800” (12mm to 20mm)

You need a 5 degree reamer for peg installation.

There are a variety of different size black 5th string tuners to match this set.

A set is four tuners, two left hand thread tuners and two right hand thread tuners.
