This 5th Peg Banjo Tuner compliments all of the black Peghed brand planetary tuning pegs. It too has an internal planetary gear set with a 4:1 turning ratio. The body of the peg is aluminum and the button is ebony. 8mm thread diameter.
Installation requires a hole 16mm deep.
Best installed using a stumpy 4 degree reamer. (1:25 slope)
Maximum hole drill size before reaming: 7.5mm / 19/64”
This peg can be used when there is no truss rod in the neck.
