Made in Japan quality is apparent when you tune your ukulele with these tuners. A large gearbox with planetary gearing provides a smooth 4:1 tuning ratio.

The finishing on these tuners is excellent, they are available in a satin black anodized finish or in what Gotoh calls Chrome White which looks like a satin brushed finish.

This can be excellent retrofits to older ukuleles which already have an 8mm + hole for the tuners, these tuners require a 9.5mm hole (3/8”).

The peghead must be between .360” to .485” thick. (9.2mm to 12.3mm). There are two different length tuners, the UPT tuner is the shorter one and UPTL is the long one. Look at the chart in the illustration to decide which tuner you need.
